Apomuden Opens Its Doors
Apomuden Specialist Hospital was established in Kumasi with a founding team of dedicated physicians and a clear mission: to make specialist medical care accessible to the people of the Ashanti Region.
Expanding Our Departments
We expanded from an outpatient-only facility to include inpatient wards, a surgical theatre and a diagnostic laboratory — allowing us to manage a broader range of complex conditions under one roof.
Launch of ENT & Physiotherapy Units
The opening of our dedicated ENT department and physiotherapy rehabilitation centre marked a significant step forward — giving patients in Kumasi access to specialist care that previously required travel to Accra.
Pain Management & Paediatrics Added
Responding to community need, we launched dedicated Pain Management and Paediatrics departments, bringing our total specialist units to over 12 — supported by internationally trained consultants.
